The hosts, Sara and Peter, were welcoming and made me feel at home. I loved getting involved in the farm activities, such as feeding the animals and milking the cows. The homemade evening meal was delicious, and the continental breakfast with homemade yogurt was scrumptious. The location was perfect, allowing me to enjoy stunning views of Tokatoka peak during my climb. it was a unique and exceptional experience.
The location is a bit remote, so it may not be convenient for those who are not already traveling along that coast.

Peter and Sara were exceptional hosts, making us feel like part of their family. The farm itself was a delight for our children, with animals ranging from cows and sheep to lizards and alpacas. We enjoyed a free hike up Tokatoka hill, where we were treated to stunning views and interesting stories about the local nature and culture. The breakfasts were delicious, featuring homegrown produce like tomatoes and honey. If you're in New Zealand with children, this farmstay is a must!
My wife says that we wished we had discovered Peter and Sara earlier during our stay.

Free use of bicycles: The farm stay had complimentary bicycles available, and let me tell you, it was like riding on a cloud! The bikes were so smooth and easy to ride, it felt like I was effortlessly gliding through the beautiful countryside. It was a fantastic way to explore the area and get some exercise at the same time.
Limited nearby attractions.

Our stay at the farm was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, Peter and Sara made us feel like part of their family. We were invited to join them for a delicious dinner with other guests and had a great time chatting and laughing together. The next day, we had the ultimate farm experience by milking cows and feeding the animals. Peter even took us on a short hike after a delicious breakfast. We had an amazing time at this farmstay! The hosts, Sara and Peter, were incredibly kind and helpful. They made us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived. The dinner and breakfast provided were fantastic, and the room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and lots of animals to interact with. The highlight of our stay was definitely the climb to Mount Tokatoka with Peter and the early morning cow milking with Sara. this was one of the best experiences we've had during our travels in New Zealand. Highly recommend!

This double room is amazing! It's got everything I need - an oven for cooking yummy meals, soundproofing so I can have a peaceful sleep, and even a tumble dryer to keep my clothes fresh! It feels like a cozy home away from home.
Personally, I would have preferred if this double room didn't have an oven. But hey, that's just my preference, and I understand that others might find it convenient.

The breakfast was great, with delicious home-made yogurt and a variety of options. The farm animals were adorable and it was fun to watch the milking process. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. the experience was enjoyable and memorable.
The accommodations were not up to par. The rooms were small and outdated, and the beds were uncomfortable.
